  5. Uptick (noun) – a small increase or upward trend.
  6. Concern (noun) – worry, anxiety, apprehension; issue.
  7. Trajectory (noun) – way, track/course, route, direction, approach.
  8. Admirable (adjective) – commendable, praiseworthy, laudable, exceptional, notable.
  9. Track record (noun) – previous performance, previous accomplishments, previous achievements.
  10. Under siege (phrase) – going through a siege; very seriously attacked/criticized.
  11. Vulnerable (adjective) – endangered, unsafe, unprotected, unguarded ill-protected; easily affected by, prone to, at risk of.
  12. Concomitant (adjective) – associated, related, connected, linked.
  13. Prompt (verb) – cause, impel, urge.
  14. Curtail (verb) – decrease, lessen, reduce, restrict, limit.
  15. Descend into (phrasal verb) – (of a situation) fall, slide, degenerate, deteriorate, decline.
